Central Union Mission is the oldest private social service agency in Washington, DC. It operates an emergency shelter, provides benefits for veterans, helps people overcome addictions and operates a food and clothing distribution center. AAM staff volunteers at the mission, including annually assembling and donating health kits for residents.
