A Positive Impact: How Our Members Show They Care

Most member companies of the Association for Accessible Medicines run corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs. Part one of this blog described some of those efforts. Further CSR programs are reported below:

  • Hikma Pharmaceuticals’s CSR program centers on Sustainability: “We are committed to operating sustainably and responsibly. We feel a real duty of care towards the people who use our medicines, our customers, our employees and the wider community.”

  • Jubilant Cadista Pharmaceuticals, Inc. focuses on Community Outreach: “We always stand by our employees and encourage their involvement in communities near all corporate locations in Salisbury, MD and Horsham, PA.”
  • Mayne Pharma Group, Limited  focuses on Sustainability: “We endeavour to attract and retain the best talent, promote a safe and healthy work environment, deal ethically and fairly with all stakeholders, prevent or minimise any environmental impact [and] encourage innovation in product design..."
  • Mylan, N. V. is committed to Social Responsibility: “It is what drives our enduring passion to improve access and serve unmet needs across all geographies, while respecting the environment...”
  • Sandoz Inc., a Novartis Division's Corporate Responsibility programs "are an important part of how we help people around the world access high-quality medicine.”

  • Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Inc's Corporate Social Responsibility commitment: “At Sun Pharma, we make good health affordable and accessible to the marginalized communities and society at large. With active fieldwork, dedicated research and recognition of the efforts of those who work behind the scenes to combat illness and disease, we help as many people as we can to ensure their right to good health.”
  • Teva Pharmaceuticals USA  "aspire[s] to make a positive social impact in everything we do to contribute to healthy communities and lead a responsible business.”
