Powered by AAM, Women in Health Policy (WiHP) amplifies effectiveness and professional development. Our dynamic LinkedIn network has grown to more than 415 members. We gather periodically to network and hear from inspiring leaders. On a beautiful spring evening last week, over 100 WiHP members went up to the AAM rooftop and welcomed special guest U.S. Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill (D-NJ), who served as a U.S. Navy helicopter pilot and a federal prosecutor before entering the House of Representatives earlier this year. Representative Sherrill discussed her role as a female leader, her reasons for running for Congress and why the health care debate is so critical at this time.
It was a perfect spring evening in D.C. for AAM’s Women in Health Policy (WiHP) spring networking event on the AAM rooftop.
As this group gains momentum, we are thrilled that participants include policy and regulatory experts; communications, marketing and public affairs professionals; and congressional staff.
