Shana Christrup has been actively engaged in health policy development for over two decades. Most recently, Shana was the Public Health Director at the Bipartisan Policy Center. She served as the health policy director for the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, and as the deputy director of legislation for the Washington, DC office of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Earlier in her career, Shana was a health policy advisor to former Sen. Bill Frist (R-TN) and worked for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality as well as the National Institutes of Health. Christrup was the vice president of health policy at Hart Health Strategies Inc.
