Ashley Henyan is Director of Communications for the Association of Accessible Medicines. She supports internal, external, and member communications and marketing for AAM and the Biosimilars Council.
Ashley brings over 15 years of experience in public relations, media relations and communications. She previously served as a communications director and a global-media spokesperson for the American Red Cross. There she helped lead Red Cross field communication efforts for various crises—including the Key Bridge Collapse, the 2021 Afghan Repatriation, the National Blood Supply Crisis, Hurricane Michael, Hurricane Dorian and the 2019 Alabama Tornadoes.
Ashley holds a B.A. in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, as well as an M.A. in Screenwriting and an MFA in Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University.
