Emily M. King serves as General Counsel and Vice President of Accord Healthcare, Inc., serving as a strategic partner to business unit leaders internally and with partners, customers and vendors worldwide. Accord Healthcare is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Intas Pharmaceuticals, Limited, a pharmaceutical company with a footprint in 85 countries that focuses on oncology products. As the leader of the US legal team, she handles mergers and acquisitions, regulatory matters, contract negotiation, compliance, employment, corporate governance and manages litigation. Prior to joining Accord in 2017, Emily spent ten years as an attorney with boutique law firm Hutchison, PLLC in Raleigh, where she acted as outside general, investment and employment counsel for life science, technology and pharmaceutical companies. Emily received both her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
