Pete Kelbel is Senior Manager, Federal Government Affairs at the Association for Accessible Medicines. Pete helps in developing and implementing the initiatives of AAM’s Federal Government Affairs team and is responsible for managing a range of projects to promote the federal advocacy goals at AAM. Pete also manages the communications with AAM’s Washington Representatives and day-to-day operations of AAM’s Political Action Committee (PAC).
Prior to AAM, Pete was the lead Legislative Assistant on health care for Capitol Hill Consulting Group (CHCG), where he assisted the team with a variety of health care clients that included established insurers, pharmaceutical companies, and pharmacies. Pete previously worked for Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) and in his home state of Michigan in the State Legislature. Pete holds a B.A. in Political Science from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business, where he received the distinguished Bryce Harlow Fellowship.
